简介
解清扬  Qingyang XieCurriculum Vitae

Qingyang is currently a M.Arch candidate at MIT’s School of Architecture and Planning. She is trained as an architect and also educated in art history. Prior to coming to MIT, she received her dual degrees in bachelor of science in architecture and bachelor of arts in art history at University of Michigan.  Her work has been featured in publications such as Dimensions in 2024 and Portico in 2023.

Her academic pursuits are rooted in the thinking of architecture beyond the disciplinary practice but as an unknown field of knowledge with the capacity to critically respond to, critique, and alter the realities we inhabit. Her interest involves a rigorous interrogation of traditional and contemporary narratives to reveal and understand the underlying socio-political and environmental currents influencing our built environments.
